Biography

Cesar Quezada is a leader in higher education, dedicated to empowering first-generation and undocumented/DACA students. He develops innovative mentoring and support initiatives to address the needs of diverse student populations. A proud first-generation, DACAmented college graduate, Cesar is pursuing a Master’s in Education at the University of North Texas.

At Texas A&M University-Commerce, Cesar led the nationally recognized Latino American Mentorship Program (LAMP), honored by Excelencia in Education. He has also served in leadership roles with the Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education (TACHE) and has presented at national conferences on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

A published author, Cesar contributed to Hispanic Scholar Perspectives on Education and Well Being and coauthored the 2024 article Revisiting College Access and Equity: Perspectives of Continuing-Generation College Students on Their Privilege, showcasing his commitment to equity and inclusion in higher education.
