Student Awards and Prizes 2024-25

The Math Department presented its 2024–25 prizes at our open house on May 25, 2025.

• Duy Le ’25 received the Rebecca C. Orr Memorial Prize for demonstrating strong scholastic achievement and promise for future professional accomplishment.
• Adam Wright ’25 received the John D. Baum Memorial Prize for earning the highest score among Oberlin College students on the Annual Putnam Mathematical Competition.
• Isaac Viviano ’25 received the Edward T. Wong Memorial Prize in recognition of his scholastic achievement and contributions to the department.

We had four terrific honors students in 2024–25: Aidan Marco ’25, Sam Nieman ’25, Jack Page ’25, and Isaac Viviano ’25.

The Math Department will present its 2025–26 prizes at our open house on Sunday, May 24, 2026, between 2 and 4 p.m. We hope you can join us!
