Department-based and student research projects often involve use of the Oberlin College Archives. Its rich and varied collection of original historical materials offers insight and documentation of Oberlin’s involvement in many of the significant social, religious, civil rights, and political movements of our time. Archives also retains the records created by administrative, departmental, and organizational offices.

In addition to its physical space on the fourth floor of Mudd Center, College Archives also offers such online resources as a series of digital collections, virtual exhibits, and a history of Oberlin architecture.
