Biography

April earned an MA in applied linguistics and a BA in linguistics and drama at the University of Queensland, Australia. April has taught English in many countries around the world, including the United States, China, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. Her research interests include ethnography, nonverbal interaction styles and critical discourse analysis. She has a passion for pedagogical innovation and navigating interaction across cultures.
