Wenqin Yi earned a bachelor’s degree in piano technology at Sichuan Conservatory in 2019 and attended the C.F. Theodore Steinway Technical Academy summer program the previous year. She earned an Artist Diploma in piano technology from Oberlin in 2021 and completed a piano technology fellowship and teaching assistantship at Oberlin during the 2021-22 academic year, with advanced training in concert piano regulation at the Steinway & Sons factory in New York.
