Biography

Seoyeon Jo conducts research in the fields of applied microeconomics, specializing in gender, labor, education, and health. Her current work focuses on the effect of paid maternity leave on the labor force participation of women in South Korea, the effect of state budget cuts on higher education, and the gender wage gap within STEM fields. She teaches classes in principles of economics and economics of the labor market.
