Who is Judy Laushman?

Although many offices close during winter shutdown and at the end of the academic year, the world atop the Science Center has no concept of calendar breaks. The space in this glass rooftop is frequented everyday by its caretaker. Who Am I?
Name: Judy Laushman
Job title: Greenhouse Manager
Department and location on campus: The Biology Department Greenhouse on the roof of the Science Center.
What does your job entail? I'm responsible for the care and maintenance of the plant collection, as well as the structure of the greenhouse.
How many years at Oberlin? We moved to Oberlin in 1989. I've been in this position since 2005. In my full-time job I serve as executive director of the Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, Inc.
Hobbies? Plants, reading,and reading about plants.
Favorite food? Popcorn with M&Ms
Favorite Quote? "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."
