Department and location on campus: Oberlin Center for Technologically Enhanced Teaching (OCTET) located in the Professional Services Building (across from the Mercy Allen Hospital)
Job title: Director of the Oberlin Center for Technologically Enhanced Teaching
What does your job entail? Exploring the ways in which technology can (and can't) affect teaching and learning, and assisting in implementing the systems and practices that are beneficial to both. Additionally, support those systems that are in place through workshops and one-on-one sessions. While this isn't necessarily my 'job,' I also teach a course that explores the evolution of machines by comparing machine learning to human learning.

What are your hobbies? Soccer, guitar, roots of behavior, robotics, and the stock market.
