Professor of Conducting Timothy Weiss leads the Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME) in Andrew Norman's work Gran Turismo for eight virtuoso violinists. Inspired by the video game of the same name, the piece was part of the program for CME’s Chicago 2016 tour appearances in celebration of Oberlin Conservatory's 150th anniversary. This video, produced by Zach Christy, was recorded in the conservatory's Clonick Recording Studio.
The performers are Dana Johnson ’17, Gregory Gennaro ’17, Sophia Bernitz ’16, Henry Jenkins ’16, Kah Yan Lee ’16, Thomas Cooper ’17, Francesca Fetten ’16, and Sophie Davis ’16.
