Biography

Kyle McCarthy is the author of the novel Everyone Knows How Much I Love You (Ballantine, 2020). Her fiction and essays have appeared in Best American Short Stories, American Short Fiction, the Harvard Review, Lux magazine, and elsewhere.

A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, she has received fellowships from the Elizabeth George Foundation, the Edward Albee Foundation, the Lighthouse Works, and the Anderson Center. Previously, she taught at the University of Iowa, the Sackett Street Writers' Workshop, and the New School.
