Biography
Kyle Farris serves as Assistant Director for Career Readiness, overseeing the Arts, Communications and Creative Professions career community. Kyle Farris has spent his entire adult life working in higher education as a student, advisor, program specialist, and graduate researcher. In every role, he has been committed to making higher education a more equitable place for all students. He is excited to join Oberlin due to its rich history of social justice activism.
Kyle earned a BA in Political Science at the University of New Mexico, an MA in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently working towards his PhD in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University.
In his spare time, Kyle enjoys creative writing, playing video games, and baking more desserts than he probably should.
