Josh Nolan joined the college in July 2021. Nolan is a partner in the higher education practice group at Bricker & Eckler LLP. He is an experienced litigation attorney and higher-education law practitioner. Nolan has more than 24 years of experience in higher education as a college administrator and as an attorney representing educational institutions, including colleges and universities.
Nolan began his legal practice with an Ohio-based law firm representing public and private entities in both state and federal court and administrative hearings for regulatory and commercial litigation issues. His higher-education law experience includes risk management, campus conduct, First Amendment issues, Title IX, FERPA, Clery Act compliance, and student mental health intervention. He earned his undergraduate degree in English at Boston College, his MSEd in higher education administration at Indiana University, and his law degree at the University of Akron School of Law. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
