Biography

My research is aimed at understanding how galaxies change, and what role collisions between galaxies may have played in those changes across cosmic time. I have worked both with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, to study galaxies in the nearby Universe, and with the Herschel Space Observatory, to understand more distant galaxies. I am also very interested in public outreach and science communication, and have been writing for the public since 2013.
