ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Founded in 2010, the Thomas and Evon Cooper International Competition is dedicated to presenting an important international competitive opportunity to outstanding young musicians, alternating annually between piano and violin.

This year's piano competition takes place from Monday, July 31 to  Friday, August 4, 2023. Participants compete in live rounds in Warner Concert Hall at Oberlin Conservatory, Monday July 31-August 3 are free and open to the public. The Concerto Finals with The Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Music Center are ticketed.
