Cultivating Safe Spaces in Socially Driven Art Making

Special Consent Month programming by the Modern Music Guild. During this workshop, clarinetist, artist and educator Amy Zuidema will elaborate on case studies of organizations that strive to create “safe space” in the arts, what this means, & engage the attendees in critical thinking of what a safe space entails, as well as how they can incorporate elements & refine this in their own creative practice.
