Join the Bonner Center for an intergenerational conversation with residents from Kendal Oberlin, our neighbors right down the road! Learn about how Peace Corps shaped their personal and professional lives and how it might be impactful for you, too. Most recently, Peace Corps has worked on Climate Action across the globe.

Wondering what to do after you graduate?  Want to address the climate crisis?  Work and live with people in the midst of it right now?  Gain insight and experience for what could become a career in the growing number of climate-related jobs opening up in virtually all the professions?  The Peace Corps’ major new climate initiative (Strategy to Secure a Resilient Global Future) addresses all those questions. It is committing 2 million hours of volunteer time in 63 countries—many hit first and hardest by global warming—to help develop and implement climate adaptation projects.  Come and talk with former Peace Corps volunteers at a drop-in session in the “conversation pit,” Bonner Center.  Learn about the challenges and rewards of one of the most exciting life experiences you can have.
