Important Notice: Upcoming Changes to Mass Email Requirements
January 22, 2024 9:00 AM
New Changes from Google
Starting in February 2024, Google will implement stricter requirements for sending bulk emails through third-party systems. These changes aim to enhance email security and deliverability.
If you use mass or bulk email systems (such as Constant Contact, MailChimp, Emma, or Engage), it’s crucial to ensure these systems comply with DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) standards.
Note: This does not affect emails sent from Gmail, only those sent from bulk email systems will be affected.
Why It Matters
- Beginning in February 2024, improperly configured systems may result in email delivery failures. Such issues could significantly affect the effectiveness and reach of your important communications.
- Additionally, compliance with DMARC changes will significantly enhance email deliverability and prevent them from being marked as spam or getting rejected.
