Hello! My name is Chloe and I’m a first-year here at Oberlin. I grew up in Durham, North Carolina, so, having been winterless for many years, I’m so excited for my first real winter. While I’m undecided on a major, my interests include History, Global Health, and Politics.
Outside of academics I’m part of Obi-Phi, Cro-Slay (run by fellow blogger Kate!), and the Oberlin Public Health Society. I also volunteer at the Family Planning Clinic in Lorain! When I’m not in class or studying I can usually be found reading, trying new baked goods from town, or watching k-dramas with my friends. Sometimes it’s also just really nice to sit on a bench and appreciate where I am.
When I applied to Oberlin I loved these blogs, finding excitement and possibility when I imagined my life here. I hope that my words convey the immense enthusiasm that I have for Oberlin and give you a glimpse into the world that I’m creating here. I am beyond excited to be a blogger at Oberlin!
