Hi folks! I graduated from Oberlin in 1996 and returned in 2008 to lead the college's Communications office. My team works with almost every department on campus, and oversees web & social media initiatives, print & publications, media relations, and overall strategy for Oberlin's external and internal communications.

I grew up in Baltimore before heading to Oberlin, where I double-majored in English and Environmental Studies. I am married to the love of my life (another Obie) and we have two awesome little boys. In my spare time I love listening to, playing, and composing music, writing, reading, gardening and cooking. And my mom, of course.

Before I returned to Oberlin I worked at MIT, where I was a fairly prolific blogger (blogging was actually part of my job description there), but I haven't been able to carve out much time to blog in recent years. I hope to fix that one of these days.
