Santiago Jose Sanchez is a queer Colombian American writer and artist. Their stories have been published in McSweeney's, ZYZZYVA, Subtropics, and Joyland. A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and Yale University and former professor at Grinnell College, Sanchez now teaches fiction at Oberlin College. Hombrecito, their debut novel, is now out from Riverhead.
