The once homey Rathskeller restaurant on the lower level of Wilder Hall has been a favorite lunch spot among students, faculty, and staff. The space is now available for individual and small group study, small group meetings, and special events. Campus members can also reserve the space for a specific event or activity.
As part of an overarching strategy to manage the quality and expense of the campus dining program, the Rathskeller kitchen closed in spring 2017. A campus dining committee will reimagine the space and develop a plan for how it will be used.
Commonly referred to as “the Rat,” the former restaurant offered a lunch and dessert buffet, an à la carte menu, and specialized in traditional and comfort foods.
