Mark McLeod Appointed Director of Compensation and Benefits

Mark McLeod has more than 25 years of human resources experience. He will serve as the college's director of compensation and benefits.

Mark McLeod has been appointed the college’s new director of compensation and benefits. McLeod will report to Joseph Vitale, chief human resources officer, and will be located in the Services Building.

McLeod has more than 25 years of human resources experience. He previously worked for the city of Akron, Saint Luke’s Medical Center, Wooster Community Hospital, and most recently Kent State University.

McLeod holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management. He is an SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and International Public Management Association for HR Certified Professional (IPMA-CP). He serves on the board of directors for the Employers Health Coalition and for Employers Health Purchasing Corporation. He is an active member of the Higher Education Board of Advisors for IMPACT Solutions (EAP) and of the Benefits Committee for the Ohio Inter-University Council (IUC).

McLeod will assume his post September 8.
