Instagram Winter Term Photo Contest Favorites: Creations

This January, the Office of Communications asked students to show off their winter-term projects by participating in its first ever Instagram Winter Term Photo Contest. To participate, students were asked to share photos and captions on Instagram that related to three prompts: locations, people, and creations. All current students who follow @oberlincollege and posted photos and captions relating to the contest prompts using the hashtag #OberlinWT during the contest period were eligible to win one of three $15 Slow Train gift cards.

Three winners were chosen by Office of Communications staff early this month. They are:

  • Naomi Fireman, Locations
  • Anna Kucher, People
  • Elana Bell, Creations

All winning photos can be seen now on the Oberlin College Instagram account (@oberlincollege). Elana Bell’s winning photo can be seen in this gallery along with several other of the office’s favorite Creations submissions.
