The ninth-annual Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) and Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) Kids Summer Art Camp will take place August 17-21. The camp exposes children ages 6 to 12 to a variety of artistic materials and techniques through hands-on classes taught by local artists. It culminates with a reception and display of campers’ work.

See the News Center to learn about the history and mission of the summer camp, as well as types of projects past campers have created. Contact Jason Trimmer, Eric and Jane Nord family curator of education at AMAM, at jtrimmer@oberlin.edu or James Peake ’06, FAVA education and outreach coordinator, at favaeducation@oberlin.net for information on this year’s camp.
