Don’t Forget! Dalai Lama Fellows Applications Due
February 9, 2015
Communications Staff
The Bonner Center for Service and Learning is accepting applications for Dalai Lama Fellows through Friday, February 13. Fellows can receive a project grant of up to $10,000.
Dalai Lama Fellows is a yearlong program that seeks to promote principled leadership and personal accountability. Dalai Lama Fellows design, create, and launch ambitious Compassion-in-Action projects that address one or more of the four global challenges identified by the 14th Dalai Lama: encouraging cross-cultural and interfaith understanding and cooperation, diminishing violence, alleviating poverty, and protecting the environment.
A main requirement of Dalai Lama Fellows is to integrate their fellowship work meaningfully into the life of their respective college or university. Returning to Oberlin’s campus is a vital part of that requirement.
Dalai Lama Fellows is open to all Oberlin College students. For an application, email your request to bcsl@oberlin.edu. For questions, contact Fellowships Advisor Nick Petzak at nick.petzak@oberlin.edu or 440-775-8140.
