Oberlin College and Conservatory is excited to welcome students and their parents as they move in to college housing.  All students, parents and others will need to wear their masks indoors and outdoors.

Your student needs to check in before proceeding to their housing assignment. There are two locations for Residential Education check-in, and your student's check-in location depends upon where your student will be living. The desks will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the dates listed below, and students may arrive any time during these time periods. No appointment is needed.

September 28—Incoming first-year conservatory/double degree/pre-identified cohort program participants

September 29—Incoming Arts & Sciences students

October 1, 2, 3—Returning Obies

At check-in, your student will be granted ID card access to their residence hall, instructions on how to complete your RCR (room condition report) online, and a room key (if applicable). Any student who has not submitted their COVID-19 vaccination record must be tested before being allowed to check in to their assigned housing.  All other students should test on their date of arrival but can check in prior to doing so.
