Along with the application, you will need to provide the following:

A. Link(s) to video recording(s) of your performances of the required repertoire. Each submitted piece must be recorded continuously and unedited. Each of the three required pieces may be recorded separately.

Preliminary Recording Repertoire

1. J. S. Bach: Fugue movement from one of the unaccompanied violin sonatas—No. 1 in G Minor, No. 2 in A Minor, or No. 3 in C Major

2. N. Paganini: One caprice

3. The first movement of a concerto selected from:
L.v. Beethoven: Concerto in D Major, Op. 61
J. Brahms: Concerto in D Major, Op. 77
A. Dvořák: Concerto in A Minor, Op.53
F. Mendelssohn: Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64
P. Tchaikovsky: Concerto in D Major, Op. 35
H. Vieuxtemps: Concerto No. 5 in A Minor, Op. 37

B. Teacher recommendation letter.

C. $130 application fee. When you submit the application form, you will be linked to a payment page to complete your application by paying the application fee.

All application materials must be submitted by May 1, 2022. Invitations to compete in Oberlin will be sent by May 15.
