The Office for Disability & Access is located in Wilder Hall, Room 112. Accessible entrances are located on the North side, facing Lorain St., with elevator access from the basement to the first floor.

Vision

The Office for Disability & Access (ODA) leads the campus community in its commitments to recognize disability as a valued aspect of diversity, embrace access as a matter of social justice, and design universally welcoming, equitable, and inclusive environments through innovative resources and programs, leadership, and collaboration.

Mission

The Office for Disability & Access (ODA) works to create inclusive educational and residential learning environments. The ODA facilitates access, discourse, and involvement and promotes universally designed environments, accommodations, training, collaboration, and innovative programming to foster a sense of belonging for the Oberlin College community with disabilities.

The Office for Disability & Access (ODA) facilitates equitable access to all programs, courses, services, facilities, and activities provided at Oberlin College while empowering students to develop self-advocacy.

Our office supports Oberlin College’s long and rich history of recognizing and supporting diversity by providing resources for students with disabilities. 

ODA works to fulfill the Oberlin College mission, aiming to empower students with disabilities to engage with our diverse and inclusive residential learning environment.
