Bernie Fischlowitz-Roberts is the summer funding coordinator in the Career Development Center. He manages the competitive process by which students apply for funding to cover expenses associated with unpaid or low-paid summer internships or other career-related summer experiences.
During the fall semester, he also serves as application assistant in the Fellowships Office.
Before coming to Oberlin, Bernie ran a small consulting business, specializing in research, writing, analysis, and advocacy on environmental policy issues. Before starting his consulting business, he worked for a series of environmental nonprofit organizations.
Bernie enjoys reading, taking walks with a recently adopted shelter dog, and vegan cooking.
