Cooper Competition Heats Up

The competition has intensified on the Oberlin campus, where the field of participants in the 2013 Cooper International Competition has been narrowed from 24 to six. They perform Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. in Warner Concert Hall, and three will advance to the concerto finals on Friday, July 26, at Cleveland's Severance Hall. On the line: cash prizes totaling more than $20,000 and three full scholarships to attend the Oberlin Conservatory. Read more.
