avaf Contemporary Latin American Art Exhibit

The Allen Memorial Art Museum’s celebration of contemporary Latin American art continued Friday, February 20, with an exhibition at the Richard D. Baron ’64 Art Gallery. The exhibition featured sculpture, graphics, and video by the artist collective known as assume vivid astro focus (avaf). The exhibit was organized by Denise Birkhofer, Ellen Johnson ’33 curator of modern and contemporary art, with assistance from Nicole Alonso ’13.
