Chloe Deshusses threads needles on a weaving loom in preparation for making a custom sleeveless dress in the winter-term project From Yarn to Garment. Directed and sponsored by Betsy Bruce, director of recreation and club sports, the group project called on participants to create their own garment design, learn how to dress and operate a loom, weave the fabric, and sew and fit their garment. Finished garments were displayed in the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) Main Gallery from January 6 through February 7.
