Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and the Center for Learning, Education, and Research and in the Sciences (CLEAR), the Celebration of Undergraduate Research kicks off Friday, September 20, at noon in the Science Center’s Bent Corridor with a poster session followed by the celebration’s keynote address by Zine Magubane, associate professor of sociology at Boston College, who will talk about her experiences as an undergraduate researcher and about her current project “Science, Reform, and the ‘Science of Reform’: Booker T. Washington, Robert Park, and the Making of a ‘Science Society.’” The celebration continues Saturday, September 21, with a panel discussion featuring four alumni and presentations by student researchers.
