Join Oberlin alumnus Michael Shifter ’77, for a timely discussion of changing relations between Latin America and the United States. Shifter is former president of the Inter-American Dialogue, a leading policy forum on Western Hemisphere affairs based in Washington, DC. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee of Human Rights Watch/Americas Division, and is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Shifter has written extensively on democracy, security, and political change throughout the Western Hemisphere.
