When traveling more than 100 miles from home, Unum Travel Assistance provides eligible active employees**, spouse, and children up to age 26, four types of services as indicated below:
- Pre-Trip Information
- Emergency Personal Services
- Medical Assistance Services
- Emergency Transportation Services
The services offer you enhanced security for your leisure and college business trips.
You and your dependents will have toll-free or collect-call access, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to the Unum Travel Assistance Customer Service Center and/or access to the services provided on the website from anywhere in the world. Dependents can use the service independently.

**Eligible active employees are those who have Unum Life Insurance coverage. The service is not available to retirees.
