Biography

Pronounce my name

Seven Nicole graduated from The College of Wooster in 2022 with a degree in Africana
studies. As a member of the Wooster community, she played an integral role in
reshaping campus policy and intercultural dynamics to effectively address the issues
impacting Black and Brown communities. To further her work as an activist scholar,
Seven utilized a Black feminist framework to complete a year-long thesis exploring the
lived experiences of Black women and the cultural implications of beauty and hair
politics. In her role as the BIPOC community fellow, Seven strives to highlight the
beauty of diverse groups on campus and provide space for equitable and enjoyable
experiences for all. An Oberlin native, Seven looks forward to reconnecting with her
roots and serving our community.
