Biography

Jennifer Schlesinger is a certified nurse practitioner, earning a board certification at the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jen graduated at the top of her class from Georgetown University with an MS with a focus in family nurse practitioner, and from Marquette University with a BS in nursing. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and earned a nomination from Georgetown University for Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing membership.

Jen brings invaluable experience to the Student Health and Wellbeing department at Oberlin College and Conservatory. Prior to joining the Oberlin community, Jen practiced in family medicine caring for her own established patient panel at MetroHealth, University Hospitals, and Fairfax Family Practice. Prior to working as a primary care provider, she excelled as a registered nurse in a number of diverse settings, applying critical thinking skills and advanced nursing judgment. Jen is a compassionate and empathetic family nurse practitioner committed to patient-centered care.

When Jen is not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and spending the day on Lake Erie. Jen looks forward to caring and advocating for all students at Oberlin College and Conservatory.
