Biography
Anthony Pernell-McGee is the Executive Director of Career Exploration and Development at Oberlin College, where he also serves as the pre-law advisor and career advisor for the Law & Public Policy Career Community. In addition to his leadership role, Anthony is actively involved in academic initiatives, serving on the Law & Society Curricular Committee and working with the Law & Justice Scholars Program. He also advises the Pre-Law Society and the Moot Court Team.
As a proud first-generation African American gay male, Anthony leverages over 20 years of legal experience to mentor students and alumni on law school admissions and careers in the legal field. Before joining Oberlin, he held key positions at Williams College, Bates College, and Morehouse College.
Outside of his professional career, Anthony is an avid cyclist and enjoys sharing his passion for vegan cooking and juice recipes with family and friends.
