Women’s Lacrosse Drops Another One
BY RICK KOCHER

The Oberlin women’s lacrosse team suffered their worst loss of the season to conference foe Wooster on Wednesday by a score of 17-3. This loss came after the Yeowomen won their second game of the season on Saturday against Redland, who traveled from California to face Oberlin. Oberlin prevailed by a margin of 8-6 on the neutral site of Kenyon College.
In the Wooster game, Oberlin experienced some difficulties on both sides of the field. On offense, the Yeowomen put up their second lowest score of the season, and on defense they allowed more goals then any other game this season.
Sophomore Briana Quinn said “Wooster is a very strong team this year, they had a lot of speed too. We had too many turnovers and they took advantage of each one.”
With five games left in the season, the Yeowomen will look to keep improving their play and win a few more games.
“Basically we have to be more aggressive, and prepare ourselves for the Conference tournament,” Quinn said.
The next obstacle for Oberlin will be on Saturday, when they will travel to Pennsylvania to face the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
