The baseball team will be enjoying themselves in Tennessee this weekend, but they will return to play their first home game on Wednesday against Thiel College, with whom the Yeomen got into a few scuffles last season. Donít miss the chance to see this heated rivalry.
Athlete of the Week
Jesse, a junior from Casco, Mich., has been untouchable so far this season. She hasnít yet lost a match, or a single game for that matter, in number one singles competition. Last year she was named NCAC First-Team for singles and doubles, and she was also honored as the conference newcomer of the year. Jesse also qualified for nationals last season and finished 14th in the country. Along with sophomore teammate Alaina Fotiu-Wojtowicz, she has also been undefeated in doubles action, defeating John Carroll, Albion and Otterbein. Jesse and company will travel to Michigan tomorrow to take on a tough Hope College team.

Troy Aikman, the quarterback who led the Dallas Cowboys to three Super Bowl Championships, was waived yesterday, as the management is no longer convinced that he is healthy enough to be their starter.
Shot-Putter C.J. Hunter Retires
C.J. Hunter, the husband of Olympic champion sprinter Marion Jones, retired after he was banned from competing professionally for two years. Hunter, the world-record holder in the shot put, tested positive for steroid use before the Sidney Olympics and did not compete.

Former undisputed heavyweight champ and notorious carnivore Mike Tyson finally came to a tentative agreement with the team of current champion Lennex Lewis to fight a title match in late July.
