Electronic Materials (ERes)

  • sound and other digital files are available 24 hours/day via ERes, and individual course Blackboard pages, if instructors have placed them there
  • ERes passwords are provided by instructors
  • for problems with ERes materials call 775-5136 for assistance

Tangible Materials/Regular Reserve

  • books, CDs, binders, scores, videos, etc. are shelved at the Circulation Desk
  • ask for items by call number
  • items circulate for 3 hours
  • print reserve materials may leave the library; recordings on reserve do not leave the library
  • print reserve materials may be checked out overnight if their 3-hour loan time expires after the library's closing hours
    • materials are due back at the library by 9am the next morning

Information for Faculty

  • create reserve lists using these forms
    • check OBIS for status information
    • call 775-5136 with questions
  • submit reserve lists to Greg Solow
  • library staff will retrieve the items
    • If you have items checked out that should be placed on reserve, please let a Circulation staff member know to avoid recall notices.
  • for late additions to an ERes list expect a 72-hour turn-around time for recordings to and a 7-day turnaround time for print items that must be scanned
  • personal items may be placed on reserve
