Reserves
Electronic Materials (ERes)
- sound and other digital files are available 24 hours/day via ERes, and individual course Blackboard pages, if instructors have placed them there
- ERes passwords are provided by instructors
- for problems with ERes materials call 775-5136 for assistance
Tangible Materials/Regular Reserve
- books, CDs, binders, scores, videos, etc. are shelved at the Circulation Desk
- ask for items by call number
- search reserves in OBIS or in the Reserve binders at the Circulation Desk for call numbers
- items circulate for 3 hours
- print reserve materials may leave the library; recordings on reserve do not leave the library
- print reserve materials may be checked out overnight if their 3-hour loan time expires after the library's closing hours
- materials are due back at the library by 9am the next morning
Information for Faculty
- create reserve lists using these forms
- check OBIS for status information
- call 775-5136 with questions
- submit reserve lists to Greg Solow
- library staff will retrieve the items
- If you have items checked out that should be placed on reserve, please let a Circulation staff member know to avoid recall notices.
- for late additions to an ERes list expect a 72-hour turn-around time for recordings to and a 7-day turnaround time for print items that must be scanned
- personal items may be placed on reserve
