To apply to the Sonic Arts Workshop, please complete the online application along with a $55 application fee by April 1st. Applications will be reviewed after this deadline. Please expect a letter regarding your acceptance status by April 20.
In addition, please share two or three examples of your creative work. This might include scores for traditional isntruments, audio recordings of purely electronic pieces, video files with original video or pre-existing video with original sound design, and so on. In general, we are interested in anything that deomonstrates your creativity with electronic media. Please contact us if you have any questions about what to include.

The cost to participate in the Sonic Arts Workshop is $1,200, which includes tuition, double room in a college residence hall, and meals.
We offer a limited number of scholarships to assist with tuition for those with expressed financial need. Please include a letter requesting this assistance with your application. Notification regarding financial assistance will be sent with your acceptance letter.

Oberlin Conservatory of Music offers one college-level music elective credit at no extra charge for students who participate in all course sessions, including the final concert. To request a transcript for this credit, please complete the order form.
