Biography

Scott Hwang has worked in higher education since 2006. He most recently came from the University of Michigan as the Associate Director of the Program on Intergroup Relations. He is currently finishing his dissertation for his Doctorate of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Scott's main function as the Director of the MRC is to oversee all MRC operations, working to create a safe and welcoming campus environment for a diverse student population that includes underrepresented minority students, students of color, LGBTQ+, and students from marginalized communities.
