Tutor Program

Oberlin College offers free individual and group tutoring services for all students through the Center for Student Success.

Peer tutors are provided at no cost for students who could benefit from additional support with their coursework, or a study partner.

Should you need additional help, consider the drop-in tutoring services offered by the Center for Learning, Education, and Research (CLEAR) in the Quantitative Skills Center. They provide peer tutors from a variety of majors with strong backgrounds in mathematics, or experience in programming, modeling and other quantitative methods.  In addition, the student-led Oberlin Workshop and Learning Sessions (OWLS ) program is an interactive way to get different types of practice mastering the class material outside of homework and problem sets.

The Writing Center is available to help in any stage during the process.  The Writing Center can help talk through an assignment, brainstorm, discuss a draft, develop a thesis, polish prose, or explore grammar issues.

If you need a tutor, please fill out the tutor request form below.  We will do our best to provide you with a tutor whenever there are tutors available.   Please be advised that every course at Oberlin does not have a tutor.   If you have questions, contact Donna Allen in Student Academic Success Programs, or call 440-775-8464.
