Nicolás Arellano was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has a degree in Linguistics from Universidad de Buenos Aires. He has worked as a Spanish teacher for more than 5 years and he is currently working as a Teaching Assistant for the Hispanic Studies Department in Oberlin College. In addition, he has participated in several research projects, focusing on both Applied and Formal Linguistics and he has also earned a scholarship based on the study of new phenomena in Rioplatense Spanish, granted by Universidad de Buenos Aires.
