Eight-year-olds Jaylynn (left) and Maia (right) are the newest Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music campus security officers. The two report they plan to keep their ears to the ground to help keep students, faculty, and staff safe because, as they say, “It’s not like our ears can go any higher!”

Jaylynn and Maia aren’t the only children overtaking Oberlin this April Fools’ Day. Check out oberlin.edu to see other young faces in Mudd Center library, the Green Machine, Finney Chapel, and more!
