Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation is a tradition at Oberlin College and Conservatory which celebrates the accomplishments of LGBTQ+ graduates as they finish their time here on campus.

All graduating LGBTQ+ students are invited to participate. All participants are recognized for their accomplishments, given a cord, and are able to name a Significant Supporter who will be honored on our website and within the program.

A Significant Supporter is someone who has been influential during a student's journey through education; this can be a mentor, family member, friend, or someone else who has helped them on their journey.

There is no cost to participate in this ceremony. If you are a senior graduating in the Spring or Fall of 2023 and would like to participate in this year's ceremony, please reach out to us at MRC@oberlin.edu. The deadline to sign up to participate in this year's ceremony has passed.

Any & all members of the campus community as well as friends & family of the graduates are invited to attend Lavender Graduation.
