Mika Kawashima received her M.A. in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and B.A. in both International Studies and Communication from University of Central Arkansas.
Mika joined the ALLEX program in the summer of 2018, and she taught Japanese courses in Colby College for four years. She also assisted with teaching the Japanese courses and tutoring Japanese language students at Georgetown University and University of Central Arkansas.
Prior to 2018, she lived in Hong Kong for five years while working at a financial corporation dealing with clients from Japan as well as other Asian countries.
