Biography

Mariah earned her Bachelor’s degree in communications and Master’s degree in leadership in higher education at Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio. While finishing her degree, Mariah worked with prospective students in First-Year Admissions, managed student groups and events within the Brain Center for Community Engagement and co-created the Women’s Research and Programming initiative on the Baldwin Wallace campus. Mariah was also on the planning committee for the inaugural Women’s Leadership Summit which focused on empowering and supporting women working in largely male-dominated fields.

Mariah values diversity and inclusion, self-care, and holistic wellness. She strives to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and has a deep sense of belonging. Mariah is excited to be at Oberlin and is looking forward to helping students be successful in all areas of their lives.

In her free time, Mariah enjoys traveling both within Ohio and internationally, trying new things, reading, and being outside. Feel free to stop by and ask her about travel tips!
