As a graduate of the class of 2017, I am thrilled to be returning as a member of the admissions team! I graduated from Oberlin College with majors in politics and in gender, sexuality, feminist studies and with a minor in comparative American studies. Outside of the classroom, I competed with Oberlin’s equestrian team, studied abroad in London, ate in a co-op, helped organize Oberlin’s Neurodiversity Week, worked at Oberlin’s very own bowling alley (College Lanes — check it out!), learned to knit, befriended some world-class musicians, academics, and writers — and still found time to search for the infamous white squirrels!

As a recent alum, I often get asked about my “Oberlin story.” Why rural Ohio? Why Oberlin? My Oberlin story is my love for the seemingly-endless farmland, the blue-skied flat horizon, the bike trail lined with wildflowers, and the golden glow that settles like snow on the town in the early mornings. My Oberlin story is filled with peers, professors, mentors, and academic endeavors that shaped me into the person I am today.

I am excited-beyond-excited to help you begin your own Oberlin story. I would love to have a conversation with you about all things Oberlin: the value of a rigorous liberal arts education, campus life, athletics, the experience of being immersed in music and other creative passions, and so much more.

Please email me with any questions you have about the application process or about Oberlin in general — I’d love to hear from you!
